Over the next few pages, we’re going to explore the three main concepts behind managing Quality.
These concepts are ones that you will already use in both your day-to-day work and personal life, but probably in a far more informal way. The methods we’re going to work through together are not the only ways to perform these tasks … we’ve deliberately chosen these ways to introduce you to the concepts and give a foundation to build on in the future.
Logically, continuous improvement aims to improve the organisation reactively as things happen. Risk management is the other side of the coin, where we aim to identify things to improve in a proactive way. Together the lessons from both of these can be integrated into the Process approach to record and build on them for the future.
